Edmonton Meet Up?

As I've trekked about the internet, I discovered some pretty disturbing news. There seems to be an overwhelming lack of FF/Serenity meetups in the whole Alberta area really. How has this been allowed to happen? How has this atrocity been tolerated? I know that there's a fan base out there, I can feel it. Not to mention that we really do owe it to our Cap'n. I mean this is Nathan's hometown, his character should be shown the appropriate attention. So... I was thinkin' (and its a rare occasion indeed peeps) we need to organize a meet up here in E-town. There's only a few more months until the movie comes out (fortunately enough in the same month as my birthday) and we need to get fuelled up here. Sadly we're not a big enough city to have the comic cons and such, but we can show that there ain't no party like an E-town party! Lets get together! Come on!

This is the blog that I'm starting in appreciation for the uber great series created by the ingenious mind of Joss Whedon. He opened up his vast imagination and let the beautiful creative waterfalls of Buffy, Angel, Firefly and now Serenity flood out and wash over us like a refreshing dew. All I can say is thanks, Joss, and don't let any power in the 'verse stop you!
